Deputy Accounts Receivable & Treasury Manager (M/F)
Ganea, a recruitment agency specialized in Accounting & Finance and Human Resources & Payroll, is currently supporting one of its clients — a well-established international group and leader in its field, based in Saint-Priest — in the recruitment of a Deputy Accounts Receivable & Treasury Manager (M/F) for a permanent position.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of Accounts Receivable, whom you will support as a true right-hand partner, you will play a central role in ensuring the reliability of customer accounts and in overseeing cash collections.
This position combines a strong operational involvement in accounts receivable with a progressive move towards more strategic responsibilities, particularly in treasury management.
Key Responsibilities – Accounts Receivable (Core Role)
On a day-to-day basis, you will be deeply involved in the full customer accounting cycle:
- High-volume cash receipt posting and integration
- Customer account reconciliation and justification
- Management of payment remittances (cheques, bills of exchange, credit cards)
- Monitoring and posting provisions for doubtful debts
- Management and follow-up of year-end rebates (BFA)
- Contributing to month-end closings and continuous improvement of AR processes
Role Evolution – Treasury & Cross-Functional Projects
In close collaboration with the Head of Accounts Receivable and finance teams, the role will evolve in the medium term towards higher value-added treasury responsibilities, including:
- Participation in international cash management and treasury forecasting
- Interaction with foreign subsidiaries and support with cash balancing
- Contribution to the implementation of cash pooling and centralized treasury solutions at European level
- Involvement in defining and rolling out new financial processes
- Participation in harmonization projects and financial data centralization at the Saint-Priest site
- Interest in digital finance and AI applications, with a continuous improvement mindset
Profile Required
- Degree in Accounting, with confirmed experience in accounts receivable and/or treasury, ideally in a structured or international environment
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Knowledge of SAP and/or KYRIBA would be an advantage
- You are detail-oriented, well-organized and reliable, with strong analytical skills
- Curious and open to change, you enjoy working in transforming environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit are key to success in this role
